Founding Provost Stan Sahlstrom Honored for 52 Years of Rotary Service

A contingency of people, including Crookston Rotary President Mary Cavalier; Crookston campus Director of Career and Counseling Services and Past Rotary President Don Cavalier; U of M, Crookston Chancellor Emeritus and Past President Don Sargeant and his wife, Mary Beth; U of M, Crookston Director of Alumni & Development Corby Kemmer; and Rotary Past President Carolyn Weber, attended the presentation to bring greetings from the U of M, Crookston and the Crookston community. University of Minnesota President Robert Bruininks presented Sahlstrom with a plaque in his honor from the university.
Stahlstrom was a member of the Crookston Rotary Club and served as District Governor of District 5580, which includes 65 Rotary Clubs in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Ontario, Canada. Stahlstrom is still an active member of the St. Cloud Rotary Club and has made many friends throughout the district.
