Cultural Events
The UMC Concerts and Lectures Committee plans various campus events. The events expose students to different cultural opportunities and people. We have featured people such as Martin Luther King III, Olympic gymnast John Roethlisberger, Winona LaDuke and many others. We also have opportunities to take advantage of other concerts through free tickets purchased for the Crookston Artist Series in town.
Students may also get subsidized tickets to any of the events offered at the Chester Fritz Auditorium at UND, Grand Forks, ND (only 30 minutes away). Students can take advantage of many special concerts offered at the Alerus and the Ralph Englestad Arena, also located in Grand Forks.
