Composition

Kristina Gray's composition class interviewed people in the Crookston community. The goal of the project is for the students to learn how to interview and transcribe as well as collect interesting stories. A specific purpose is to record the stories of Sisters at Marywood, a monastery retirement home just a few miles out of town. We wanted to record their stories before they are too elderly to be able to tell them.

The students in Gray's two sections of Comp. 1 first interviewed the person. Then they created a Website and PowerPoint presentation to share what they have learned from the interviewee. Below are some of the PowerPoint presentation and Websites Gray's students created.
