"We couldn't have done it alone."

Those are popular words when an agency or group of people is recognized for doing something good for someone else. At UMC's Office of Service Learning, "We couldn't have done it alone" are words to live by. Whether they're programs or initiatives housed in our office - like America Reads, Habitat for Humanity or the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program - or state agencies that UMC belongs to - like Minnesota Campus Compact - we most definitely can't do it alone. No matter the agency or initiative, we all have the same goal: To help people who for a variety of reasons are in need of assistance. And at the end of the day it doesn't matter who gets
a project done or who gets the credit, all that
matters is that it gets done, and done well.
