UMC students will host a "Haunted House" at Bede Student Center on Friday, October 29, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. for young children; 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. for older children and adults.
On
Saturday, October 30, the times are from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. for younger
children and 6:30 to 11:00 p.m. for adults and older children.
The cost is $2.00 per person, and all the profits will be donated to local
charities. Disability accommodations

This is the third year a group of students has planned and operated the Haunted House in Bede Student Center. The students, most of whom work on campus as residence assistants in the campus residence halls, plan the event, do all set up and decoration, dress up in costume, and operate the entire event.
According to Gary Willhite, Director of Residential Life at UMC, the event generated over $1000 last year for local charities. All of the money goes to the Violence Intervention Project and Habitat for Humanity.
