Craig Carmean

Comedian Craig Carmean to Perform at UMC February 7

Craig Carmean will be appearing at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) on Monday, February 7, 2000.  He will perform in Kiehle Auditorium beginning at 8:00 p.m.  The performance is free and open to the public.

Carmean began his comedy career while a student at the University of Georgia performing at many Student Union events.  Before long he was paying his college tuition by working at the local Atlanta and Athens area clubs.  That was nearly six years ago.  Since then, Craig has gone on to perform over one thousand times in four countries, including many different clubs across the United States, as well as three cruise lines.

He currently resides in Atlanta.  He also works as a freelance writer for morning radio shows.  Craig is one of the finest musicians working today, who just happens to do comedy.  A great act that will keep you on the edge of your seats with musical selections and parodies that hit home.  He hits the stage running with an enthusiasm and energy that never lets up.   His tireless and hilarious delivery will leave you gasping for air.  Craig is a tremendous crowd pleaser.

The program is sponsored by the Student Programming and Activities for Campus Entertainment (SPACE) committee.  Disability accommodations can be made by calling 218-281-8587.
