Jan Solheim, word processing specialist at the Northwest Experiment Station, was named Employee of the Quarter for Winter Quarter 1999 by the University of Minnesota, Crookston United Staff Association. (USA) The award was presented by Peg Sherven, USA president at a recent meeting.

Solheim has been with the University for over 20 years and has worked and volunteered on many committees. She continues to take classes many of the quarters while working. According to her colleagues, she has a pleasant, easy going personality and works well with all people on campus.
