Native American Cuisine Next UMC International Series

Native American Cuisine: Past to Present with Debbie and Barbara Stumblingbear, will be presented on March 22, at the next UMC International Seminar Series.

The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with an ethnic dinner for $8, followed by a 7:00 p.m. program in Sahlstrom Conference Center. The dinner is by reservation only.

Debbie Stumblingbear is the director of Dining Services at UMC, and Barbara Stumblingbear is the Dining Service director at Haskell All Nations University in Lawrence Kansas. The women will take a unique approach which will include talking about and taste testing some traditional foods that have been around for years in their culture.

Each dinner in the International Seminar includes special ethnic recipes from the featured country, according to Mario Prada, director of International and Multicultural Programs at UMC and coordinator of the International Series.
