UMC Golden Eagle Golf  Tournament to Be Held in Roseau

The first annual UMC Golden Eagles Golf Tourney will be held in Roseau on Thursday, August 12, at Oakcrest Golf Club. The Texas Scramble tournament begins at 12 noon.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) Teambackers is happy to initiate the first annual golf tourney in Roseau to benefit the UMC Golden Eagles Hockey Team for 1999-2000. UMC is proud of its hockey tradition and is excited about entering the NCAA Division III Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association.

The Golf Tournament begins at 12 noon with a Texas Scramble Tournament format and shotgun start. Pre-assembled teams of four are permissible. Individuals without a team will be assigned to teams.

A UMC and Northwest School of Agriculture Alumni Social will be held at the clubhouse from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Free will offering will be accepted for the hors d’oeuvres. Several UMC faculty, staff and others from the Crookston community will attend the tournament and social.
