Development Center Groundbreaking Ceremony Set for May 5, 1999
The Early Childhood Development Center will serve three purposes: 1) to serve as a model child development laboratory for students majoring in Early Childhood Education whereby they may recognize, analyze, and demonstrate developmentally appropriate practices and principles of child development, educaiton, and family science theories 2) to provide a high quality early childhood care and education program for young children and their families for the University community and the community-at-large; and 3) to provide a teaching and learning environment for quality educational programming and applied research in child development, early childhood education, parent education, and parent involvement.
