The Disney folks conduct a school for hospitality, and Toni is one of their graduates.
She'll share Disney secrets as she's learned to apply them to the hospitality industry in
the small communities of southeast Minnesota.

Lunch Program: The Internet as a Promotion Tool
You'll see how the internet can be used to promote your business or community.
UMC students will show and tell web home page projects for small cafes and
businesses in northwest Minnesota.

Concluding Seminar: Wine Tasting
This seminar will be taught by UMC faculty.

Learn about budgeting tools, customer service, and menu planning from the faculty of UMC's Hotel Restaurant Program.
Legislation Affecting Beverage Service
Dave Burris, General Manager of th3e Best Western in Thief River Falls will teach this workshop as a representative of the Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association. Dave has presented his workshop for many audiences, and he is well respected for his knowledge and experience in the hospitality business.
Developing a Home Page on the Internet
During this workshop, you'll see examples of small business home pages, and learn how to design and develop a home page to advertise your business on the Internet. Also included will be information about resources available to help you get your own homepage.

Registration:
$10.00 or $5.00 per person for 3 or more from a business or organization.

You may also receive half a college credit by attending the general session, three workshops, submitting a written report, and paying $50.00 tuition
