Dwyer Named UMC Employee of the Quarter

Sue Dwyer, word processing specialist at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC), was named Employee of the Quarter for Spring Quarter 1998 by the United Staff Association.

Dwyer has been with the University since 1978 when she worked half-time for the agriculture division and half-time for the placement office. She is currently part of the UMC Printing Department on campus.

She was recognized for her friendly attitude and personal attention to details in all of her work.

"She’s an extremely organized individual which shows whenever she’s involved in any committee work. Her bubbly personality creates a warm friendly atmosphere when you visit her department," said a colleague.

Dwyer is married to Paul Dwyer, and they have two children.
