UMC Music-Theater Department Presents:
"Fast Girls" a Comedy in Two Acts

The University of Minnesota, Crookston Music and Theater Department will present the two-act comedy "Fast Girls" Friday through Monday, November 7 through 10 at 7:30 p.m.,except for Sunday when the show is at 3:00 p.m. The performances will be in Kiehle Auditorium.

The all-student cast includes Jane Hoesly from Ladysmith, WI; Darci Delage from Brooks, M;, Mike Swartz from Pisek, ND; Tamilee Nennich from Bagley, MN; and Jeremy Ferguson from Petersburg, ND.

The plot of this show centers around two women in their mid-thirties, "Lucy" and "Abigail" who are close friends. Lucy, who was divorced twelve years ago, enjoys dating as many men as possible in contrast to Abigail who is obsessed with waiting for "Mr. Right" to call. Mitzi, Lucy's mother, shows up to make her daughter more "marriageable", but to whom? The choices are Joe, the young attractive 23 year old or Lucy's old boyfriend, Sydney, who Lucy endured a "love-hate" relationship for several months. And what about poor Abigail who admits that "high standards and loneliness are one and the same thing."

Tickets are available at the door for $3 adults and $1 students.
