Comedian
Peter Berman to Perfom January 13
Comedian Peter Berman will perform Tuesday, January 13,
at 8:00 p.m. in Bede Ballroom as part of UMC Student Activities'
Tuesday Night Fever Series. The performance is free and open to
all UMC students, faculty, and staff.
Berman is a comedian whose career started while he was President of the University of Michigan's Activities Center. He knows what it is like to plan, schedule, and run an event at a college campus. Ripon College said, "Peter's performance was truly outstanding. He was one of the finest people we have worked with behind the scenes as well." Duquesne University said, "Outstanding! It is rare to have someone who is so genuine on-stage and off-stage. . .a class act."
Berman has been the host of NBC's Friday Night Videos and has appeared on MTV, Vh-1, Star Search, Evening at the Improv, Comedy on the Road, and the Comedy Channel. He has opened for Tim Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Reiser, and Paula Poundstone, to name a few. Cal State Fullerton said, "If you are looking for comical hysteria, then Peter's your man!"
