Third Annual UMC Women’s Golf Classic Set for July 29
The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) Athletics Department is pleased to announce its Third Annual Women’s Golf Classic Tuesday, July 29, at the Minakwa Golf Club in Crookston. All area women golfers are invited to join several staff and faculty from UMC for a fun event with awards and prizes.
The event will begin with registration at 12:00 noon. A brief tournament orientation will take place at 12:45 p.m followed by tournament tee-off at 1 p.m. The format will be a Texas scramble for nine holes. Preselected teams are permissible.
The entry fee of $25 includes green fees, hors d’oeuvres, and post-tournament social. Proceeds will go toward a scholarship fund for UMC’s female student athletes.

This event is part of a series of regional summer golf tournaments sponsored by UMC Athletics and the UMC Alumni Association. An open invitation stands for all UMC alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and others from the surrounding area.
