Neppel Assistant to the Chancellor
I'm pleased to
indicate that Judy Neppel has accepted the Assistant to
the Chancellor position effective January 17. Judy's
background includes health education curriculum
development and assessment and several leadership
positions primarily with the Northwest Technical College,
most recently as Sr. Vice President. She has worked with
UMC faculty and staff as a colleague for over 20 years.
We look forward to her contributions to UMC.

Memorial Service
A memorial service
in honor of Barry Schwengler will be held on Thursday,
January 13, at 7 p.m. in Bede Ballroom. All members of
the UMC campus community and the Crookston community are
invited to participate in this service of remembrance.
The UMC Choir will offer several musical selections, and
a time of sharing and scripture will be led by UMC Campus
Ministry President, John Rozek. The memorial service is
sponsored by UMC Campus Ministry. Please contact Collette
Conati (281-8516) if you have questions or wish to
participate in some way.

Fall Semester Grades Available on the Web

Fall semester grades will NOT
be printed and sent to students.
You can check your grades
by going to the Student Services One Stop page
at: http://www.umcrookston.edu/people/onestop/index.htm and selecting "Enrollment
and Course Info"; then "Web-Based
Registration Information";
then "View Your Grades (NEW!)".
Grades are also available
on the Golden Eagle Informer Line by
calling 281-UofM (8636).

Farm Wrap Selected
Farm Wrap has been
selected, along with seven others, to address public
concerns about workforce preparation and development. You
are cordially invited to the viewing of the Farm Wrap
video entitled, "Pathways to Work Success: Preparing
for New and Changing Occupations." The viewing will
take place in Sahlstrom Conference Center A & B on
Thursday, January 20, beginning at 12:30 p.m. It will
conclude at about 2:30 p.m.
Spring Candidates for Graduation
Students intending
to graduate spring semester must file an application for
degree by January 21st with the Office of the
Registrar, One Stop Student Service Center, 170 Owen
Hall.

at UMC's Blood Drive on Tuesday, January 25th,
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by the Sahlstrom Conference
Center entrance between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. the week of
January 18th - January 21st to
schedule an appointment, or call Stacey at 8512. Thank

Request for Agenda Items
The FCC (Faculty
Consultative Committee) will meet with Chancellor
Sargeant and Vice Chancellor Knowlton on January 25.
