Physician on Campus
In an effort to better meet the health needs of the UMC students, starting January 6, 1999, Dr. Kanten will see students every Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. FREE of charge. Previously the student's health insurance was billed for an office visit. This will no longer happen. The students MUST make an appointment by calling student health at 8512 prior to being seen by Dr. Kanten. Any lab work, x-rays, and/or prescription medications will be the student's responsibility. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.

The Epicurean Room
The Epicurean Room will be open winter quarter for lunch on Thursdays beginning December 17 and resuming after the holiday break. Reservations are required and there is a nominal charge. The Epicurean Room is operated by students in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management program and is located in Sahlstrom Conference Center 122. Students plan the menu, prepare the food, and provide table service. Please contact Trish Ramstad at 8256 to make your reservation.
