Torch & Shield Banquet Reservations
Just a reminder that
reservations for the Torch & Shield Banquet are due

CESB Dedication
All faculty and staff are
invited to the Controlled Environmental Science Building
Dedication on Wednesday, November 4, at 1:30 p.m. Tours
of the building will follow.

Career Development
The Office of Human Resources,
Counseling and Career Center and the Office of Outreach
& Continuing Education will be putting together a day
long workshop entitled "Where do U fit in?"
It will focus on two objectives:
- Teach employees greater career
self-reliance
- Normalize resistance/obstacles to
career development; help employees identify how
to overcome barriers.
The workshop will be done through ITV
with the University of Minnesota,Twin Cities campus in
Sahlstrom Conference Center 108 on Tuesday, November 3,
from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. One
credit is available and the cost of the tuition will be
paid by the Office of Human Resources.
If you have any questions or to reserve
a space, please contact me at 8681 before Friday, October
30.

Using University Images
Extra copies of the poster
"U of M Marks of Excellence: A Guide for Using
University Images" are available through the
University Relations Office. This is an excellent poster
to very quickly see what is acceptable when using a
University image. If youd like a copy, please call

Faculty and Staff Accolades
- Wendy Mesenbrink has been
selected as the Dining Services September Student
of the Month. Wendy took the initiative to work
extra shifts during the first two weeks of the
quarter. Her assistance and cheerful attitude
were appreciated. Wendy is an animal science
major. Congratulations Wendy!
