Revised Final Exam Schedule
A reminder that a revised Spring
Quarter (May 18-20) Final Examination Schedule has
been published. The CORRECT schedule is printed in
the Fall Semester Class Schedule (p. 7) and can also be
viewed on the Web at:

UMC Students in Concert
The Music-Theater Department
will present "UMC Students in Concert" on
Monday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Bede Ballroom.
Students enrolled in Music 1041 (private instruction)
will be performing various selections. These individuals
include Tania Johnson, Grant Peterson, Genesis Gast, Adam
Wagner, Jacob Schnetzer, Laura Trickey, Randy Montonye,
Carolyn Weber, Adam Sand, Mike Barrett, and Jane Hoesly.
The program will last about an hour, is free, and there
will be refreshments available. Everyone is welcome!

1999 Academic Advisement & Registration
Academic Advisement & Registration for new
students is scheduled for May 24, 25, 26, 27 and June 28.
Please see the attached schedule for details.
All those participating in the Student
Success Fair are to have their tables staffed by 8 a.m.
on May 24, 25, 27 and June 28. The registration session
scheduled for Wednesday, May 26 will be a "late
day" session beginning at 11 a.m. Please staff your
information table by 10:30 a.m.

Bagley Students at UMC
Last week 90 third and fourth
graders from Bagley, along with one of their fathers, U
of M Regent Warren Larson, spent a day on campus. Their
day included a water demonstration with Wendell Johnson,
Nancy Capistran, Paul Holm, Bonnie Boyle, Marsha Odom,
Jerry Knutson, assisted by UMC students: Todd Dick, Becky
Seifert, Shane Osborne and Chris Ingebretson; horse
training and showing with Nicole Overgaard; and traveling
the world on the net with Andrew Svec. Thanks to all who
helped make this a successful day.

1999 UMC Summer
News
The final issue of the UMC
Bulletin for the 1998-99 academic year will be
published Thursday, May 27.
UMC Summer News will be
published monthly during the summer. In past years we
have published enough issues to send to faculty, staff,
key individuals as well as enrolled students, new student
admits, and Post Enrollment Opportunity Act students.
This year the UMC Summer News will go to only faculty,
staff and any key individuals who request copies.
We plan to publish the UMC Summer News
electronically, printing only enough copies for those who
request a paper copy. If you would like a paper copy,
please call or e-mail Rose Ulseth (rulseth or 8439). She
will need your name and address.
