It is almost that time again!
Orientation '99 is just around the corner and we are in

that you believe would make excellent OL's for 1999.
These students must possess the following qualities:
energetic, positive role models for UMC, must be in good
academic standing, and must have attended UMC for at
least one quarter. Please send any nominations to me by
Friday, April 23. Thank you in advance for your help.

Take Back the Night
The second annual "Take
Back the Night" will be held Thursday, April 29,
beginning at 7 p.m. in the Crookston High School Commons.
"Take Back the Night" events have long
symbolized the need for all members of a community to
join together to stop sexual violence, domestic abuse and
child abuse in our communities. The group will gather to
share a brief program featuring survivor stories,
speakers and musical numbers. Following the program, the
group will walk together to the downtown park at the
corner of Robert and Main where there will be more music,
a candlelight meditation and refreshments. All faculty
and staff are invited to join.
