New Service for Faculty/Staff
Printing Services is offering a new service on a trial basis. We will have pick-up/delivery stops at four locations where faculty and staff can leave handouts, tests, etc. that need to be printed. Our workstudy student will pick-up/deliver at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning March 8, 1999. These locations are:

  • Center for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hill 109
  • Center for Business and Technology, Dowell Hall Annex 130
  • Center for Learning Foundations, Sahlstrom Conference Center 109
  • Counseling and Career Center, Bede Hall 106

You may drop off your printing request at any of the four pick-up/delivery locations. When completed, the print job will be delivered to the academic center/department you are affiliated with unless you specify otherwise. Or you may pick up your completed print job at Printing Services, Kiehle 112.

  • Please complete the UMC Printing · Job Request Form and attach it to your printing project. Remember to specify date and time for completion. (We do offer four-hour service on copy-ready tests, syllabi, handouts.)
  • In order to safeguard the security of your test/quiz, please seal it in a manila envelope.
  • Leave your print request in one of the four pick-up/delivery locations.

We continue to offer an electronic form to submit print jobs. It can be accessed at: http://www.umcrookston.edu/people/services/mediaresources/mediares.htm. Please make sure your printing request was received by checking "confirm reading" when you e-mail your request and attachment.

If you have questions, please call Linda Wilkens, 8403 or Sue Dwyer, 8401.

Alumni Association Phonathon
Just a reminder that the UMC Alumni Association will hold its phonathon for their annual fund drive March 7-11 and 14-15. We are desperately in need of volunteers from faculty and staff to help with the phonathon. If you are able to give a couple of hours of your time to help make this years fund drive a success, please contact me at 8439.

Thank You
"Congratulations! The warm hospitality and helpful personnel of the University of Minnesota at Crookston combined to make the River Watch Forum that we held at Bede Ballroom on February 18th a huge success. Sharon Olson was very helpful in coordinating scheduling and Angelika Huglen did a great job with the food services. Dale Kemble, John Zak, and Andrew Svec made use of the AV equipment and Internet connections effortless for our presenters and students. Andrew also gave a very informative presentation to the Forum about web page development. Wendell Johnson helped line up Bob Johnson to give us a warm welcome to the UMC campus which he did admirably. Tom Feiro was helpful throughout the day seeing to many logistical details and helping to arrange for Natural Resource Club students to help with registration and serve as general UMC ambassadors. A true team effort—well done! UMC facilities and personnel certainly left a great impression to the over 100 senior high school students, teachers and other natural resource managers who were in attendance. I look forward to working on future projects with the University of Minnesota, Crookston. It was a pleasure."
