New Garbage Service
Effective January 4 Regional
Sanitation has been picking up garbage from the dumpsters
on campus. Following are some of the requirements and
concerns for everyone to follow:
Please:
- Only burnable garbage allowed in
dumpsters
- Keep lids closed so debris does
not blow around
- Cut or fold cardboard boxes flat
to increase space in dumpsters
- Do not stack garbage around
dumpsters
- No personal garbage (fines may be
levied)
Note for Departments: If you are
having work done by other than University personnel, the
disposal of garbage generated from those projects must be
part of the contractors bid.
Thank you for your cooperation.

New Visitor Parking Permits
New UMC Visitor Parking Permits
are now available from Debi Brule in the
Chancellors Office. These permits, with the updated
campus map on the back, are red in color. The February
1997 visitor parking permits were yellow. These have the
1996 UMC campus map on the back. People having a supply
of these permits should use these up within the next
several months. Older visitor permits should be
discarded. These permits have outdated campus maps and
could be confusing for campus visitors.

first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those
accepted as recently as last semester; those published
from 1980 forward also include 350-word abstracts.
