UMC CAMPUS SEASONAL CELEBRATION
You and a guest are cordially invited to a seasonal celebration on Friday, December 19th from 3 to 5 p.m. in Bede Ballroom. This celebration is open to ALL members of the Crookston campus community. Hors d'ouvres and refreshments will be served. Please come and join the celebration!

Happy Holidays!
--Donald Sargeant

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP CONDO VACATION DRAWING
A reminder to all UMC Teambackers who have tickets to sell or buy. Please contact me for additional tickets or return ticket stubs to the White House no later than December 18. The drawing will be held at half-time during the UMC-Presentation College Men’s basketball game. June Shaver has again donated her Big Sky condo to Teambackers. All proceeds will go toward UMC athletic scholarships.

BEING AN ANGEL!
Once again the Service Learning office has set up an Angel tree in Bede Lounge with the names of members of our community that need our assistance during this holiday season. You simply take an angel from the tree. The angel has a person's name, age and any needs for gifts that they have identified. You buy a gift, wrap it and bring it back to Bede Info Desk by Friday, December 19th with the tag attached. We will be taking the gifts down to the Care and Share Center that Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. if anyone would like to go along. Thanks for brightening someone's life and being an angel!
--Pam Holsinger-Fuchs

BRANDON FREBERG SCHOLARSHIP
Just a reminder that an anonymous donor has pledged $3,000 to match future gifts designated to the Brandon Freberg Memorial Scholarship Fund at UMC. Please contact me if you are interested.
--Al Larson

THANK YOU
I want to take this opportunity to bid farewell to all of you affiliated with the UMC Campus. After nine years at UMC, I will be retiring effective December 31, 1997.

Most of all I want to thank all of you for the support you have extended to me and the External Relations Office during my tenure at UMC. Anything we accomplished during my tour of duty can only be attributed to your support.

In January, Kay and I will head south for three or four months. We purchased a pickup and trailer and we’ll try the nomadic life to see how we like it. Our plans include spending time in Arizona, Texas and possibly California – we will be thinking of you. Depending upon the Minnesota weather, we will return to Crookston in April or May.

Thanks again for your support and most of all for your friendship.
--Allan Larson
