LEGAL ISSUES
What kind of documentation is needed by an adolescent or adult with learning disabilities or attention deficit disorders to gain admissions into an institution of higher education? What barriers do parents face when their adolescents are denied eligibility? What steps can these adolescents and adults take when they need accommodations in a post-secondary setting?

These are some of the questions that will be addressed in an upcoming series of satellite teleconferences, "Legal Insights" which will be down-linked to UMC.

On Thursday, October 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Hill 15, the teleconference will focus on "Documentation and Admissions." This teleconference will highlight eligibility, admissions and readmissions, documentation of disabilities and record keeping.
