deep discount rates, some as high as 50%, for hotels in 96 cities
throughout the U.S. The new agreement runs from January 1, 1998
through December 31, 1998. The web site is: http://www.uc.edu/sua and is password protected. In order to access the
pricing information, you must enter the password
"stsuadisc."
When visiting the web site, please read the instructions located in the introduction page carefully. These instructions tell you how to identify the discount rate when making a reservation. You need to indicate "The State Universities of America Faculty/Staff Discount Rate" and for those hotels that have a group discount code indicated at the bottom of their listing, you need to give this code when making reservations.
Some hotels have agreed to provide special
conference/group discount rates based on two levels of booking,
1) 100 rooms or less and 2) 101 rooms and above. If a hotel has
offered these rates, the information will be listed below the
rates for individual travel. If your department is planning a
conference, please attempt to utilize and give first
consideration to the hotels that have stipulated conference/group
