Schedule for safety training:

The Asbestos Awareness is primarily geared to custodial and maintenance personnel and supervisors but beneficial to all University personnel working in future renovation and abatement areas (which includes the buildings of Dowell Annex, Kiehle, Selvig, Bede and NWES Ag Research Center). We would like to encourage the majority of personnel to attend on Tuesday due to room seating.

The Workers Protection Standard (which was postponed last fall) is for employees working in greenhouses, field research, animal research or handling, grounds, and labs which work with pesticides.

Confined Space is specifically geared for only certain individuals authorized to enter confined areas. They will be at different locations—evaluating equipment and procedure issues.

Thank you for your cooperation and please call if you have questions.
