HENDEL AND WHITESIDE AT UMC
On Tuesday, February 18, Darwin Hendel and Jane Whiteside from the U of M Twin Cities Office of Planning and Analysis will visit UMC to discuss the University’s critical measures. At 1 p.m. in Conference Center 131, an open session will be held for all work groups and other interested faculty and staff. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend

PRESIDENT HASSELMO VISIT--FEBRUARY 19
President Hasselmo will visit UMC next Wednesday. All faculty and staff are invited to the Open Forum at 3:00 p.m. in the ARC Auditorium. (His complete itinerary is attached)

EXEMPT W-4, MWR FORMS, FILING W-4 FORMS FOR OTHER CHANGES
Exempt W-4’s submitted to payroll in 1996 expire on 2-15-97. To avoid having taxes withheld after that date, new exempt W-4’s must be received in Payroll in the Twin Cities by 2-14-97.

MWR forms expire on 2-28-97. To avoid having Minnesota taxes withheld, new forms must be in Payroll in the Twin Cities by 2-28-97.

Employees needing a W-4 form or MWR (Reciprocity) form may stop by the Office of Human Resources and pick up the form/s or call 8325.

Not in our Town Speaker Tammie Schnitzer was video taped, and the tape is available from the Student Activities Office. COMEDIAN TO PERFORM AT UMC
Pablo Francisco, a comedy junkie, will perform at UMC Wednesday, February 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Morsels. He was scheduled to perform in January but was stormed out. All faculty and staff are invited to attend.

SNOWDAZE ACTIVITIES
Are you looking for something to do on Valentine’s Day? The Vee’s will be performing in Lysaker Gym and faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The SnowDaze royal court will be announced that evening at 10 p.m. Come for the coronation and stay to dance.
