Interlibrary Loan and Reserve Materials Forms
A BIG thanks to Josh Brule for
getting the forms up and running for requesting Interlibrary Loan
materials and reserve materials.
Interlibrary Loan Page
- Go to the UMC Library Home page
http://www.umcrookston.edu/Library/index.htm and click on General
Library Information <http://www.umcrookston.edu/library/libinfo.htm>.
Then click on the Interlibrary Loan Form <http://www.umcrookston.edu/library/illform2003.htm>.
Please fill in as much information on this form as you can.
Materials to be put on Reserve
- Go to the UMC Library Home page
http://www.umcrookston.edu/Library/index.htm and click on General
Library Information <http://www.umcrookston.edu/library/libinfo.htm>.
Then click on Reserve Request Form <http://www.umcrookston.edu/library/ReserveForm.htm>.
In order to catalog this in the new Aleph Reserve system, all of this
information requested is needed.
What to put on reserve: Books, articles,
videos, and CD's are put on reserve by the instructor of a course for
use in the UMC Library for a 2 hour period. This is an excellent way
for a student to have access to materials in one location if, for
example, you only have one copy of an item or a very large class using
the same items. At the request of the instructor, we will check items
out for a 24 hour period.

orientation leaders of 2004 <http://www.UMCrookston.edu/FYE/Orientation/leaders/leaders2004.htm>
who made this event a true success. If you get a chance to visit with
them, please congratulate then on a job well done.

Community
Events
Crookston will be one of the
communities along Highway 75 to participate in the second annual King
of Trails Marketplace, scheduled for Saturday, September 11. The
King of Trails is the designation given by the state of Minnesota
in 2001 to Highway 75. Billed as “400 miles of great bargains from the
Canadian border to the Iowa border,” the King of Trails Marketplace is
expected to generate much attention and publicity all along the route.
Organizers are seeking vendors with arts and crafts, antiques,
collectibles, fresh produce, flowers, books, furniture, as well as flea
market and garage sale items. The Crookston Marketplace will be located
in the Bremer Bank parking lot at Broadway and Third. The Marketplace
will be held outdoors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. In case of
dangerous weather conditions, the marketplace will be at the Civic
Arena.
