End of Year Faculty and Staff
Celebration May 15
All faculty and staff members of
the University community—UMC, NWROC, Extension, NGP Inc., AURI, RSVP,
VolunTEAM, VTP, and Retirees, and spouses—are invited to attend the end
of the year campus celebration. The event is scheduled for 4 to 5:30
p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Peterson Gazebo on the campus mall
(rain site: Brown Dining Room). The awards program to honor our
outstanding employees will begin at 4 p.m., with dinner to follow. At
5:30 p.m., the celebration will move to Brown Dining Room for dessert
and to honor Don and Mary Beth Sargeant for their contributions to UMC.
A short program is planned.
The theme for the
celebration is “Thanks for the Memories.” Faculty and staff are
encouraged to scour their scrapbooks and photo albums for fun University
photos from the past. Send your photos to Andrew Svec or Peg Sherven
and be sure to put your name on the back so they can be returned after
they’re scanned.
