Setting up your web browser for WebCT

Although WebCT works well with the FireFox browser it is not on the list of "approved" browsers. You will need to allow popup windows for *.umn.edu and install the Java Runtime Environment.

Browser plug-ins and software that may be needed for course materials

Some courses utilize multimedia technologies that require special plugins or software on your computer. To be sure your computer is ready for these technologies you may want to install or upgrade the following.
