| Is
Online Learning for you?
Before registering for
an online course, assess your own needs and learning style to see
if Internet delivered courses are for you.
- Talk to other distance
education students and faculty about their experiences with electronically
delivered courses.
- Read through the information on our Distance Education
site to find out about financial aid, registration information, technical
support and requirements.
- If you are a new student or have been out
of school for several years, we suggest you start out with only one
or two classes. Be prepared to allow
adequate time for registration,
book ordering, and class work.
- Expect to spend as much or
more time completing this class as you would for a traditional class
(approximately twelve hours per week).
- Talk to the instructor if you have questions or concerns.
- Check out the course registration
and cancellation dates and fees. Distance education is a major investment
in both time and money; make a wise investment.
Please don't hesitate
