| Helpful Hints:
- Be polite and respectful. Even though you cannot physically see your instructor and classmates, you are dealing with a real person. Speak with them as you would if you were speaking face to face.
- Be prepared to work together with other students whether it be reading their work or with group projects.
- Keep copies of your homework on your hard drive or on a floppy disk or CD. This way if something is missing for some reason, you will have a copy of it.
- Have fun! Your online course will be what you put in to it.
- Use the library. The University of Minnesota, Crookston Library has excellent resources for off-campus students. If you have problems, you can contact the library at 218-281-8080 or 1-800-862-6466 ext. 8080.
