Are you new to Medicare?
An educational session will be offered locally to help consumers learn what is involved with Medicare Enrollment and the important decisions need to be made. This is a collaborative effort between the Minnesota Rural Health Association, University of Minnesota, Crookston and the Land of the Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging.
Lois Pagnac, Health Insurance Counseling Program Coordinator, will take you step by step through the process of what happens when you are about to become eligible for Medicare, how to chose the right Medicare Supplement, find the most cost effective Part D Plan and what Medicare actually covers.
The session is geared towards those who are not yet enrolled into Medicare. However, if there is a Medicare Beneficiary who is really struggling at understanding what their coverage totally entails, this may be a good refresher course as well.
Please join us on Monday, May 5th 5:30 – 8pm. at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
Who should attend? All are welcome.
Cost: This is a free workshop- bag lunches avilable for $7.00.
Sponsored by: Minnesota Rural Health Association and The Center for Adult Learning
