Nominee Qualifications
If a nominee was an athlete, the nominee must have graduated ten or more years prior.
If the nominee was an athlete, he/she must have earned two letters in one sport or one letter in two or more sports.
If a coach, athletic administrator, or athletic staff member, nominee must have been on the UMC staff for at least four years.
The records of the nominee(s) considered should be so outstanding that there would be little question as to the qualifications necessary for induction.
Consideration will be given for personal conduct in sports and personal contributions to the ideal of sports.
Criteria and qualifications will be based primarily upon the nominee's participation while attending or serving the Univ. of Minnesota, Crookston. However, accomplishments after leaving the University may be an important point of consideration.
Inductees shall attend an induction ceremony unless the selection committee has waved their presence and proxies have been selected to receive their award for them. Individuals chosen by the selection committee shall represent all inductees who are deceased or incapacitated. |
