I had a sense of responsibility and I was able
to make some of the decisions.

There were long hours and if someone didn’t
show up I was in charge to get the shift filled.

Internship
Summary:
I enjoyed my internship
experience. I thought that the two studies that I worked with were
extremely organized. I appreciated the opportunity to develop
hands-on skills in my field. This type of internship was new to me
and gave me experience that I know will be useful in the future. I
recommend this kind of internship experience to Animal Science
students seeking an internship.

The specific type of internship that I was involved with didn’t
require me to learn too much more about the position. However, a
task that I feel I need to become more comfortable in doing is the
computer data entry.
