      Summarize Your Experience:

My Experience throughout the summer was great!  I had
responsibilities that mainly pertained to my job and I worked with
great salesmen and other coworkers.  I enjoyed traveling around
and visiting with various types of people.

What I liked about the job:
I liked having responsibilities, and being relied upon.  I like
working with very friendly people. I like selling a quality product
      to good people.

What I disliked about the job:

Sometimes I had a hard time fitting in between a full time
employee and being just the intern.  This is a minor problem.

Areas that I need to learn more about:

I need to learn how to conduct myself with my friends and also with
my coworkers and build a good working relationship and maybe not
      as friendly.

  kidskollectibles

Job Responsibilities:

To design and build webpages for businesses in the northern area and promote them to the search engines.

     Summarize Your Experience:
During the summer, I worked a lot with different software programs.

Things such as Paint Shop Pro, Net Objects Fusion, Net Graphics, Adobe
Photoshop and Add Web were some of the things I learned to do.  I also
took close part in the start to finish of webpages, which allowed me to work
     personally with the customers.

What I liked about the job:

I love the knowledge that I gained in computers after taking this job.  I am
now able to take a webpage and go from start to finish.  I am also able to
construct my own personal webpage and understand more about the
     networking that goes on.

What I disliked about the job:
Working with computers always required me to be sitting and staring at a
computer screen each and every day.  As a person who grew up on a farm,
I have a hard time sitting still for that length of time.  This type of work is
something that I will consider before I begin my career.

 Name of Supervisor:  Dean Maruska

 Job Title:  Technical Service Intern

 Job Responsibilities:
Plot maintenance
Mixing spray protocol
Plot Evaluation
Computer Work
Soil Sampling

Summarize Your Experience:
There are so many options within my career of choice that its hard to tell where my future will entail. However, my internship gave me a good variety to experience instead of focusing on just one aspect. Working with the Tech Service Rep, I did a lot of plot work that was confidential working with new formulations besides what is on the market to provide data and support for sales reps. I also did computer work, scouting, spraying, plot maintenance, was involved with quite a few plot tours (dealer and also corporate levels), and worked with the area sales reps.

What I liked about the job:
I gained great first-hand experience in the ag chemical industry and gained a new perspective from the chemical side.  I met lots of great people and got my “foot in the door”.

What I disliked about the job:
It was difficult to plan anything personal as I never knew how late I would work or where I would be. This is understandable though as you never know what Mother Nature will throw your way.

Areas that I need to learn more about:
Learning is a never-ending process.  I would like to learn more about chemicals and how they work.

Job Title:  Agronomy Field Scout

Job Responsibilities:  To check fields for plant disease, stem counts, and insect problem areas.

Summarize Your Experience:  The work was very demanding it was a lot of hours and long days but the money paid off.  The time you spent working was time you made money instead of spending it, so the work was worth it. I had the opportunity to be my own boss and I liked that the most.  I would check in with my boss every three days and that was nice I didn’t feel like there was someone there watching me every move I made.

What I liked about the job: The thing I liked most about my job was the chance to work outside every day and the freedom to work the areas and hours I wanted. I also like the experience of learning how to work and communicate with my boss and managers on a weekly bases.

What I disliked about the job:  Working with a changing schedule with the weather was the hardest part along with learning the rules of potato plants how they grew and knowing what to look for as far as finding plant disease and insect problems.

Areas that I need to learn more about:  How to listen better and to keep my focus when under pressure in the work place and become a better organizer of my time and work plan.
