Fun Fact about Crookston: An early morning visit to a communal display site allows viewers to observe one of nature’s greatest spectacles, as the male Prairie Chicken puts on an elaborate dance to attract the female Prairie Chicken. Glacial Ridge is the largest prairie and wetland restoration project in North America, and is located just 10 miles east of Crookston.
