Credit Transfer Requirements from Non-United States Institutions

A course-by-course evaluation of non-U.S. post-secondary credentials is required for students transferring from a college or university outside of the United States. The transcript evaluation form may be obtained from the World Educational Services at http://www.wes.org/application/ . The form must be submitted with official transcripts/academic records from all post-secondary schools attended, along with word-for-word English translations.

There will be a cost for the service charged by the World Education Service. The WES evaluation converts educational credentials from any country in the world into their U.S. equivalents. It describes each certificate, diploma or degree that you have earned and states its academic equivalency in the United States.

A complete and official set of academic transcripts, records, and certificates from secondary schools, colleges, and universities attended, in the original language and in English translation, must be sent with the admission application.

TOEFL English Language Proficiency

To determine the English language proficiency of prospective international students, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is normally required.

More than 6,000 institutions and agencies in 110 countries rely on TOEFL scores to select students with the English skills needed to succeed. View the Frequently Asked Questions about TOEFL testing or for information on how to register online, by phone, or by mail for the ETS TOEFL test in your country at http://www.toefl.org .
