Computer Software Technology (CST) is the applied study of computing with focus on the development and maintenance of software in applications for business, industry, government, and education. A CST degree from UMC will prepare graduates for Careers in commercial software engineering and design and application--including fields such as applications programming, systems analysis, systems programming, project management, database design and management, and a range of specialized positions as well.

With UMC's considerable technology expertise as the original "Laptop University" and its focus on applied or "hands-on" learning, this degree is a perfect fit for students who need the computer science theory but who also want to apply that theory to actual real-world projects.
