Training, lessons, customer service, feeding, watering, turning out, bringing in, trail guide, cleaning, bathing and clipping, holding for the farrier, maintenance, sweeping, shots, de-worming, organizing curriculum and camps, scheduling lessons and trail rides, horse shows

 I worked with about 15 different lesson students throughout the week.  I also worked with various training horses and customer’s horses.  I guided some trail rides also, and did various barn chores like feeding and turning out daily. 

 

What I liked most about
the job:

 

I liked working with different levels of training horses and teaching the lessons of the more advanced students. 

 

 

Challenges on the job:

 

 

I found that working with children was very challenging along with working with the various customers that came to the stable.
