Three days a week of campground fee collections, dispersed campsite visits, patrol forest and campground recreation areas, make public contacts, and work with other employees to meet management objectives. I also did a two-week security detail at a forest fire in Montana. 

 

What I liked most about
the job:

 

I enjoyed working outdoors everyday, meeting other natural resource professionals, protecting our natural resources, and boating to dispersed campsites.

 

Challenges on the job:

 

 

I found working every weekend and holiday along with campground law enforcement to be the most challenging.
