While I was working for Joey I started just about every horse that came into the barn. I would put about 45 day on them then he would take them over or they would go home. Once in a while I got to finish a few of them my self. He gave me two horses that I started last winter and I got to make them finished reining horses and showed them at the end of the summer.

 

What I liked most about
the job:

 

Getting to ride A LOT of different horses. learned how to teach a horse to spin and stop…

 

Challenges on the job:

 

 

Joey was never at the barn. worked most of the time alone. Hard to get through to Joey on the communication end of things. Long HOURS
