Job Responsibilities:

Fencing, waterfowl surveys, rooster pheasant counts, placement of PLOTS signs, parking lot surveying and drafting, noxious weed spraying, saltcedar survey, and other various duties.

The first month I was there we did a lot of spraying for weeds and fencing. Then in June we mainly sprayed for weeds and at the end of the month we did the saltcedar survey for two weeks.  In July we sprayed weeds most of the month, and in August we put up PLOTS signs.  Also I did bird counts throughout those months.

 

What I liked most about
the job:

 

What I enjoyed most about the job was the bird counts, although I had to get up pretty early to do them.

 

Challenges on the job:

 

 

What I found most challenging about this job was the week in August when the temperature was over 100 degrees.
