Job Title:

Biological Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Predator Survey, Abnormal Amphibian Survey, Small Mammal Survey

Summarize Your
Experience:

My main responsibility this summer was working on a Predator Survey designed by the USGS and HAPET.  Any other times I was helping with other biological surveys or other odds.  At the end of the summer I was sent out on wildfire details.

What I liked most about
the job:

This summer I finally focused my time in biological studies and with those challenged myself in learning and growing.

Challenges on the job:

My biggest challenge was explaining the purpose of my survey to colleagues and the public.  Not everyone understands why red fox, coyote, skunk, and raccoons are needed in an ecosystem.
