 I spent a lot of time cleaning stalls and keeping the barn neat and clean. Riding lessons took up a lot of time also. I got the chance the ride quite a few different horses and to work with their team of Percherons.

 

What I liked most about
the job:

 

I enjoyed working with the horses and giving riding lessons. I got a lot of valuable teaching experience and learned a great deal about managing a boarding stable.

 

 

Challenges on the job:

 

 

There is never enough time in a day to finish everything that needs to be done. Running a stable requires a lot of time and work.
