I spent a lot of time working on boot repair.  This is a quick way to learn about leather working and also gave me an opportunity to make money.  I also spent a lot of time working with and watching Trent on saddle repair and custom saddle making.

 

What I liked most about
the job:

 

One on one atmosphere with a custom saddle maker.  Trent was very willing to help out and visit with me on any of my questions. 

 

Challenges on the job:

 

 

Somewhat unstructured business surrounding.  Never knew what would need to be done from day to day.  Spent most days doing what I thought should be done.
