in SRM may choose from different paths within the program, according
to their individual needs, experiences, and future career goals.
-
A Manager
or Athletic Director may take electives from management and
communication program;
-
A Sports
Information Director may take electives from the communication
program;
-
A Nutritionist
may take electives from the nutrition program and other requirement;
-
An Events
Manager may take electives from the marketing and promotions
areas;

An Activities

are other combinations.
Or, students
may see themselves on a path leading to graduates school. For example,
the Exercise Physiologist needs to have undergraduate courses in
biology and the sciences. Or, the Sports Agent or Lawyer needs to
have a strong academic background in communication.
The SRM program
core provides you with a great foundation, and you are free to customize
your academic program according to your academic program according
to your individual needs and experiences.
This is a unique program because of the emphasis upon management,
economics, promotions, and marketing: all within the contexts of
sport and recreation.
