UMC Mentoring & Caring
Funded through an Otto Bremer Foundation grant, the UMC Mentoring and Caring Program matches local children from the community with UMC students. The program currently has approximately 30 mentoring pairs who spend at least an hour a week together attending activities on campus and in the community. Whether attending a UMC basketball game, riding a horse during an Open Ride Night, going bowling or swimming, or just going out for dinner and talking, both the mentor and child develop a close bond and benefit from this successful program. |
