TRIVIAWE HAVE A WINNER!!! Craig Hennen answered the trivia questions correctly and won a free pass to the Grand Theater. He can stop by and pick up his movie pass from Pam in Bede 120. The answer to: What is the most common first name in the world? Mohammed. And now you know that too. This weeks trivia question is: What is the longest word that can be made using the letters only on one row of the keyboard? If you think you know the answer, write it on a slip of paper along with your name and e-mail address and drop it off at the Bede Information Desk by Noon on Wednesday. We will draw a winner from the correct answers. The winner will receive a Grand Theater movie pass. The winners name will appear in next weeks Regals Report.

FREE NICOTROL PATCHES: Student Health was fortunate enough to obtain more nicotrol patch kits from the Institute for Research and Education to assist those people who wish to stop smoking. The patches are free and available to anybody. Stop by Student Health Bede 111 for more information, or call Stacey at 8512.
NEED HELP WITH YOUR STUDIES Drop-in Tutoring will now be available on Tuesdays in Skyberg Conference Center from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursdays in McCall Hall Basement from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays in Owen 217 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
FALL FESTIVAL will be held September 21 beginning at 4:30 p.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m. The festival will inclu
de a picnic supper
as well as big games, including human darts, human bowling, sumo wrestling, bouncy boxing
and the ever-challenging obstacle course. Plan on attending. PAT SURFACE WILL PERFORM
Pat Surface will perform as part of UMCs Fall Festival at 5:30 p.m. on
the Mall. Surface is an intergenerational musician, songwriter, singer and storyteller. In
case of rain the festival will be moved to Bede Ballroom and Brown Dining.

JOKE OF THE WEEK In honor of the upcoming Vikings/ Packer football game. A Packer football player was almost killed in a tragic horseback riding accident. He fell from the horse and was nearly trampled to death. Thank God the manager of the K-Mart came out and unplugged it. Any comments Packer fans?

STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES WHO NEED ACADEMIC ACCOMODATIONS and have not made arrangements for them are encouraged to meet with Laurie Wilson in the Office for Students with Disabilities, 119 Bede hall, phone 8587 to discuss their needs. Students must provide documentation of their disability to be eligible for classroom accommodations. Stop by and find out about your rights and responsibilities as a student with a disability.
EARN MONEY TAPING TEXTBOOKS ON CAMPUS UMC is hiring students and other interested persons to tape-record texts for students with disabilities. You will be provided with a tape recorder, tapes, a text, and a course syllabus, and you will earn $6.35/hour. Students who tape must possess strong reading skills, have clear voice quality, and be able to produce materials in a timely way. Interested persons should see Linda Rains in Owen 127 to offer a brief reading sample and learn more. You do not have to be work-study eligible to tape texts.

LEADERSHIP LUNCHEON -- The Leadership Luncheon series begins Tuesday, September 21,
1999 at Noon in Brown Dining A & B. This weeks luncheon will focus on be Welcome,
IceBreakers and Setting Leadership Goals. Leadership Luncheons are held every other
Tuesday.
HAYRIDE & BONFIRE Campus Ministry is sponsoring a Hayride and Bonfire Wednesday, September 22. Meet at McCall Hall at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
CAMPUS AA GROUP -- Students interested in forming a campus AA group may leave their names with Laurie Wilson, counselor, in 119 Bede Hall. If enough students are interested a campus location can be arranged for your meetings.
LATIN & BALLROOM DANCING COMING TO UMC IN OCTOBER -- Latin and Ballroom dancing will be available to all UMC Students, Faculty and Staff. Sign up for dance classes, which will be held October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, at the Bede Information Desk. Cost is $12 for students and $20 for non-students. Have you tried "Livin La Vida Loca"?
CHESTER FRITZ LINE-UP -- The 1999-2000 schedule for the Chester Fritz has been received at the Bede Info Desk. Students who are carrying 12 credits or more and are paying the Student fee are able to receive tickets at the Chester Fritz for 1/3 off the regular ticket price.
